Excursion To Future

As I trail my life, with a chain in feet 

A torch in hand, prayers in repeat

 In a dark unknown Forrest, who whispers defeat

I shall reign my fear and never retreat.

I will stand strong against the current of depression 

Walk through the spiky vines of physical aggression

Cover my ears from the whispers of temptation

I'm brave and courageous who will future as motivation.

A battle in our head, a scream of agony

The chain burning in my skin, all product of Uncertainty

Determination and self discovery will be the key to be free

Free to continue my excursion, and reveal my destiny.
