Eternal

A blue dot giving a nearby effect, 

Born in the beautiful chaos in the universe, 

Yet in its harmony it stood perfect

And supported life even if conditions were adverse. 

A lonely speck in the vast cosmic arena, 

Yet so colossal for us it might be, 

The boundless skies belong to her

And she paints a beautiful mosaic of the unending, infinite sea. 

Enigmatic is this sunlit world, 

The gorgeous companion of Mars, 

Each organism so unique and complex, 

The only place where we dance with the waves and dream with the stars. 

So enthralling is this world, 

Where day, night, sunrise and sunset are certain, 

Truly, the magic of this wonderful blue dot

Forever is eternal

Where the stars and the moon shower their blessings

And shine with their majestic glory at night

Where the rivers flow and clouds wander

And where the mountains stand with their whole might. 

A beautiful golden history she beholds, 

Our small little planet Earth, 

Yet this is the only place in the solar system

Where beings like you and me take birth
