Enigma Unravelled

On a rainy day, under the spell of drizzling rain, sat in the balcony sipping my favorite coffee.

My eyes fell on you, who was running frantically for shelter, with a worried face and a drenched attire.

My heart skipped a beat, and a magic ran through my veins. My eyes followed your trail, to see you again and again, capturing your face in the memory lens of mine.

Under the shade of a banyan tree, you stood like a beautiful picturesque beauty, removing your half covered veil, enthralling my broadened eyes. I felt a strong current pass through my still gait, making me long to come to you to help out in the pouring rain.

You slowly lifted your eyelids, to view the unknown place, and your eyes unknowingly rested on my place and saw me looking at you with a still gaze. Our eyes met for a minute, but it was an eternity for my lovelorn eyes.

You left the place, without a second glance, leaving a picture of yours in my heart canvas.

My eyes searching for your presence in the possible roads without a clue of your identity wandering in the world of unknown.
