Duty To Be Alive
Duty To Be Alive

He asked me once
What are your views upon life?"
Well, life has always given me surprises;
It will definitely take away...
Take away that thing, which it had given once.
You have come to the world alone,
And you will do so.
Nothing is yours here,
Not even anyone else's.
So never hope to make anything yours
You are just here to perform a duty.
Duty of taking a breath,
Duty of being alive.
In the pages of my life,
I have never got the thing I wanted
Whatever I liked, liked me too much;
Missed it.
Life had snatched,.. snatched that
Away from me.
But still, I dare, I dare to life
To challenge it to like something more,
Maybe once I myself be snatched.
But it's my duty,
Duty to be alive;
Duty to fulfill the responsibilities,
Duty to take oxygen,
To liberate Carbon-dioxide;
Duty to kill nature &
Somehow to kill my own soul.
The pen is the river here,
Which flows the soul out of my mind,
May be saved, by chance.
It's my duty
Duty to be alive,
Duty to hurt people,
And to be hurt.
It's my duty,
Duty to be alive,
"AND I WILL DO IT TILL DEATH".
