There I spotted you first

In the calm blue sky

Beneath the red clouds

With your dazzling brilliance

You made the usual 'ghoom' noise

But I found the music beautiful

Kept staring at you

Waving my right arm

As you pierced the clouds like a sharp arrow

I ran from the window to the balcony

To see you

The evening was beautiful!

You grew smaller, further you went

Did you ever notice my wave?

The further you went, the frenzy I grew

Until you just weren't there

I wanted to be on board with you

To explore the dreamland

Or to wherever you went-

Disneyland, as you would say

The 'ghoom' grew softer, the sky darker

Alas! You disappeared

My dear airplane

Robbed that excitement to be free again.
