Dreaming Of a Heaven

Dreaming Of a Heaven

Yes, you strapped yourself tight,

And you were at the location right.

No one noticed you so far,

Even when you left a bag under a car.

You walked out as the buildings blew,

Just as your intentions were too.

Of course, you wanted to be blown with the bombs,

But you survived with scared palms.

Now you linger in the jail,

As human rights activists defend your trial.

And when you do reach your heaven,

I wonder if those promised you will be given.
