Do not cry, for my body has gone

I am the bird's song you hum with each break of dawn

I am the breath of fresh air coursing through you within

My spirit flies free, a heavenly venture begins

I am the sunrise to some of your darkest of hours

Thousands of seeds are planted, blooming in flowers

I am the summers rain to gently wash your tears

Divine energy always keeping you near

I am the star in the night sky igniting your spark

The glowing pale moon that lights up your dark

We meet in dreams upon a wish

Reunited for a spell, of time we each cherish

I have not really left you behind or gone away

My spirit stays with you through each coming day

So do not cry, for my body has gone,

It was never goodbye, you needn’t mourn.
