Diary Of A Girl

Tale 1:

Welcome dear to this earth

Unfortunately, you’re a girl by birth...!!

Small, tender eyes of yours are far away from this worldly chaos.!

Now you’re 10, trying to figure out life and explore

There will be many things you’ll lure!

Touching 15, puberty hits your door,

Said papa, ”hey don’t go out, stay indoors!”

So here begins the tale of compromises

Said family, you’ve to be careful to abstain crisis...!

At 17, ”hey ma, can I go out for a late-night movie like my brother?”

Said she, “shut up! You’re a girl, sit at home without any utter...!”

Lamenting over her faith of being as a girl

She sat alone with a tear drop glimmering on her curl

Little did she know, but her mum was aware of what is in people’s crust.

She wants to protect her little angel from their lust.

Said society, ”hey you’re 20, get married and settle”

Bowing her head down, she agreed with no battle.

So, here’s her crushing desires which nobody could hear

A new chapter of her life but the same compromises to bear...!!

Tale 2:

Flipping channels on the idiot box, she heard “rape is a girl’s mistake”

Lying on her bed, thinking and perplexed up by this thought she couldn’t take.

Statements of morons made her realize that being a girl is enough to be demonized

Boasting feminism and girl power by actors she wants to raise her voice on all these factors!!

They tell you to live according to the society.

This all became reasons for her anxiety.

She promised to revolutionize and fight tooth

And nail, trying harder again even if she fails...!!
