Decoding The Rift

There are times when the brain shuts down,

And the heart takes over.

All it ever brings across are frowns,

And clenched fists.

For decisions left unattended,

And options given up as gifts.

Cause we were too busy conforming to societal norms,

And being tormented if the world will ever get our drift!

Let's accept it, amidst it all we failed to see the paradigm shift.
