Darkness in my Eyes

These eyes of mine keep

the darkest secrets

secrets that doesn't let me sleep

maybe lies are the secrets.

The lies that I keep telling myself

that I am okay

I want to ask myself

am I happy? But I forget.

I want to tell but I can't

I want to sleep but I can't

I want to scream but I can't

This darkness is engulfing me

I want to ask for help

but no-one can hear me
