I'm happy just being alive

Content to be who I am

Happy indeed for the air that I breathe

Blessed just to know that I can

Be happy to be who you are, happy you simply exist 

For this is a message I need to declare, the truth is I cannot resist 

Cherish this gift we call living, this gift meant for all of mankind

Cherish this gift for as long as you live there is no greater gift you will find

This thing we call human existence 

The fact that there's you and there's me

People across every nation, let the truth in these words set you free

To walk

To talk

To smell and to taste

Be grateful to see and to hear 

I tell you no lie

We live till we die

I'd just like to make myself clear

This chance we were given to have a life

To love

To think and to feel 

No greater gift will mankind ever find, the only thing really that's real

Cherish each moment that you are alive

Cherish the ones that you love

Cherish this planet we live on

Our creator, our God up above

Cherish the sun

The food that you eat, the roof hanging over your head

Cherish it all for a lifetime 

For one day you'll surely be dead

The message indeed that I want to convey is simply to cherish your life

The journey is not always easy, there are times when it can cut like a knife 

Please do your best for those who have less, reach in and give them a hand

We need to spread more love all over the world, please do the best that you can

I mean what I say

It's my obligation to share

I wrote it all down on paper, cause this much I needed to declare
