Confined to a Cage
Confined to a Cage
Looking at the bird sitting in her cage
Instill in me a thought of modern man’s stage
We are caged in our inhibitions
We are caged in our indignation
We are caged in our binding
Either Social or Self imposed obligations
Incarcerated by our Vices in state of limbo
In lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego
Caged in our ambiguity
Breathing in duality
A bird can get freedom some day
But a man in his cage will always stay.
