Confession of Love
Confession of Love
She got up early, though
Was awake the whole night
She dressed elegantly
Sober and bright
She was smiling
But was nervous inside
How would she confess her love!
She could not decide
She bought flowers
It is customary
How she wished
They could marry
She would let out her feelings
And not worry about all buts...
It took her a month
To gather up her guts
Yet when the moment arrived
She was dumbstruck
He said what she wanted to say
What a luck!
She laughed and cried
All alone
For he had engraved "love you too, Minnie"
On his tombstone
