Happy yellow
Filled
Endlessly
By the unknown.
A soul cup
Forged from
Blessings
Forte
Gently brushed
With gold lustre
By a passing
Angel wing
The elixir waterfall
Streaming over
Pure joy
Sparkling
Given to
You with
A cheers.
These pink butterflies
A flurry
En masse
Flying high
Cherry blossom
Petals
In the tornado eye.
This blush shade furoshiki
Wrapping
A passion seed:
My secret
To its calm centre
Of sweet coumarin.
Creeping in
The daylight glow
A golden repair
For this makeshift
Sakura locket
Of spring and air.
Feeling blue
Our lost duet:
I
Wandering
You
Vanishing
A broken chord
To a missed
Shared kiss.
Blank white
Fields of
Crêpe wheat and corn
On curled parchment
Glacê iced and powdered
With the occasional
Dancing pampas grass
And the fabled silver hare
At dawn.
The marbled water trees
Swaying
In stormy sea ripples
Cream honeycomb foam
Darted
In their seashell leaves
With lost feathers
Cascading down
Spring’s snowflakes
Caught in the
Silkworm nests and
Dreamcatcher cobwebs
Of porcelain flower crab spiders
Their silk embroidery from
Delicate lace and strings
Framed with
A halo ring of
The universe
Sepia fliters
Applied.
Drifting through
This emakimono
I go
Of the equinox moon.
Happy yellow, these pink butterflies, feeling blue and blank white
