Children Of War
Children Of War
How do you see them die
And merrily go on in your life?
If blood fills your heart,
How can it beat in peace?
If words can be the saviours,
How can you douse in silence?
Within these finessed walls,
Let the wide windows
Unveil the catastrophe
That war has gifted to life!
Amidst the loud melodies,
Let the fading breaths
Knock the door of your humanity,
Intoxicated by the propaganda.
Emaciated are the blooms
Wailing yet voiceless
For bodies are being drained
And starved to the core!
They move back and forth,
Restless with churning stomach;
Listening to the death knell
With every desire to breathe!
What desire do your souls hold
That murdered your consciousness
And orchestrates them to suffer?
Who gluts your sable hearts
With malicious desire to rule
The graves carrying innocent blooms?
