Challenge- An Excelsior

As the wind rattled the casements

Of that benign little lodging, 

A swift glance at the transparent ‘looking glass’

Furnished a meager, but pronounced see-through.

That likeness, the image of individualization,

Aids to ponder over the path to excelsior.

To win over the obstacles in the way,

To glide along skilfully to achieve all endeavors.

Defeat and surpass the oblivious,

Rise up and above all faults, 

From sweat and pain,

To tranquil and gain. 

A person is just a tiny speck,

In comparison to the infinite universe.

Innumerable failure may come our way,

Hindrances on the path over which we traverse.

To forget the past, live the present,

And bring into existence,

A creation, 

The one of an unbeatable, unforgettable tomorrow.

Just face them, outwit them,

And live up to your expectations,

Only then will you achieve,

The state of complete perfection.
