You did be sitting

Beside the death

Of the person

That you could be.

If you give up today,

And not even try

To be the one

That you are meant to be.

 

It's taking too long,

But tell yourself each day that

Today is a bad day to give up.

Because your dreams are

Yours to accomplish.

 

If you are motivation

Is destroyed,

And you feel exhausted

To even take a step.

You must remember

There isn't a leaf

That survives long

After falling on the ground.

 

Though you are tired,

Deep inside you want it too,

So follow your heart's sound.

And you must,

Because I know it hurts,

When not you but

People are succeeding all around.
