Bottom Line

" Those days, those few precious moments ..........."

From the bottom of my heart,

I keep regretting day after day .........

I wish I had been more alert,

I wish I had been more vigilant,

I wish I had had not been casual & carefree,

I wish I had not been careless & insensitive,

I wish I had not taken things lightly,

I wish I had not taken a nap,

When I needed to be fully awake,

And follow necessary protocol,

For "saving" a very precious life!

Forgive me, my beloved, and adorable ........

Forgive me O' Lord and bless me,

So that I withstand the feeling of guilt,

With character, wisdom, and maturity !!
