Deepawali- The Light

Light is a symbol of God,

So, let us celebrate,

Deepawali in one accord,

Worshipping Goddess, Laxmi,

Worshipping Rama, the Lord.

Light is said to conquer darkness,

So, let us leave behind ignorance, 

And Light a lamp of love,

Shoot a rocket of prosperity, 

Illuminating lives in all its goodness. 

Light itself is illumination, 

Be it a natural one, like the sun,

Be it an artificial one, like a lamp,

So, let us spread joy, love and peace

And illumine the nation.
