Out of my reach
Out of my reach
The sky so blue and wide
The clouds floated and cried
The raindrops added to the sea
And the ocean's what came to be.
The dark ocean, so big and huge
Even if you wanted you couldn't take refuge
So unforgiving and restless pride
I couldn't find a home even when I tried.
But the colour blue, collected and calm
Misinterpreted like a false alarm
The ocean's so grumpy and dark
But its colour is bright and stark.
The sky like a black hole
Holding all the stars it stole
At night it may be intimidating like fear
But when the sun is up, it's cool and clear.
Colour blue, with silvery specks of dust
Like in a sandcastle, I'll pour in trust and trust
I watch it standing and glinting on the beach
Trying to touch a colour out of its reach.
