Blocked, Yet Happy: A Friend's Peace Of Mind

Blocked, Yet Happy: A Friend's Peace Of Mind

In the realm of friendship, a tale unfolds,

Where peace of mind, a friend seeks to behold,

With a heavy heart, I stand here confined,

Blocked and barred, in the corridors of the mind.

Oh, how I poured love and care so true,

But alas, my friend, you couldn't construe,

The depths of affection that I held dear,

Now I'm left to ponder, alone in silent tears.

Yet strangely, a smile graces my face,

For if my friend finds solace in this space,

In blocking me, their heart finds release,

I'm contented, for their happiness brings me peace.

For true friendship is selfless, so they say,

And if my absence brings joy in some way,

I'll bear this burden, my emotions concealed,

Knowing their serenity is my heart's true yield.

p>Though the ties are severed, connections strained,

In my heart, a flickering spark remains,

A friendship unrequited, but still, I'm content,

For in their happiness, my joy finds ascent.

May their mind find tranquility at last,

As I fade away from the chapters of the past,

Blocked but not broken, I'll gracefully retreat,

Wishing them peace, in their newfound seat.

So, here I stand, with a bittersweet smile,

Understanding that love can be seen as guile,

But I'll cherish the memories we once shared,

While embracing the solace of a friend who's spared.

In the symphony of life, our paths may diverge,

But the love within me will eternally surge,

Blocked by a friend, yet feeling glad,

For their peace of mind, I'm genuinely glad.
