Betrayed

It was raining heavily and the sky was overcast with clouds.

She had been waiting for him for a long time.

Soon he arrived but with someone else.

He had come to say her goodbye.

He left the place with a smile on his face,

Leaving her all alone in the rain.

She was betrayed not by her love,

But by the one whom she considered her best friend.
