Beauty Lies In The …
Beauty Lies In The …
Someone has so rightly said, 'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’
What leaves one man cold, can make someone else smoulder.
A thing of beauty cannot be categorised,
It strikes a chord for some and they are hypnotized.
A thing of beauty is joy forever,
These lines have been immortalised by poet John Keats, remember ?
It’s as if he was speaking the universal language of all lovers,
Maybe because the couple in love see the world in most vibrant colours!
Actually, beauty exists in small details,
It’s for us to be aware when it its charm unveils.
A drying autumn leaf can be beautiful too,
When it sparkles with the fresh morning dew.
Beauty exists everywhere in this world,
It’s just that we should be there to catch it when it its magic unfurls.
Stuggling with everyday strife and hurried lives,
We need the joy that beauty brings for us to thrive.
A lilt in our voice and a dance in our step,
Is also beautiful if it helps us to get through life’s flow and ebb.
To see beauty in all creatures big and small,
Is not just for lovers, but us too, so that we live our time on Earth utterly enthralled!
