Balmy Nature

On a day- sunny and warm,

When a little boy named Kabir stepped into the farm,

Mesmerised he was to see nature’s charm!

“O nature, I see you, I adore you”, he whispered in the ears of tall palm.

“You heal me like a balm!

You make me feel so calm!”

“Wrap me and rock me in your lap,

The lullaby of the gentle wind, the sweet-sounding trills of the birds-

All take me to the realms of a dreamy nap!”

“O nature, I see you, I adore you,

Swing me always in your springing arms!”
