The sky was starry and cold

My smiles were brave and bold 

When I first saw it 

Took it in my hand and it lighted up 

Now its gone ...gone completely

Broken into pieces, the glass and me

I kept it with me so lovingly

That now its only my tears that I can see

Where there was just love hope and peace

To a place I very well remember
