At Peace But Missed
At Peace But Missed

Wrinkles of the passing days
Nonetheless, un-shying, despite withering
Thirty Two years went by since you drowsed
Into the realm of the departed
In tranquility, though,
Your absence, to our eyes,
Remains unquenchable
The main root, our source of strength
Had shriveled, leaving us powerless
Now who shall hold our family trunk
Wondering, As We wilt at the slightest breeze
How we do amass our scattered branches
While tears are carried away in the wild,
Like aimless, desiccated leaves
At peace, you are now, away from the woes
Of illnesses, of agonies which were crippling
Your health state; weakening you each day
Though we lost you, we had to live on
Thirty Two years of your absence
Despite having left a big hole in our life
We mourn you, we remember you, till we meet
In Elysium
