And son of Devraj Indra,

O Parth, Arjun, Dhananjaya,

Epitome of greatest warrior.

Possessing the divine bow Gandiv,

Gifted by Supreme Agnideva,

Blessed were you by Lord Shiva,

With knowledge of Pashupatastra.

Best Archer of Dwapara Yuga,

Slayer of Angraj Karna,

Blindsided by everything, but the bird's eye,

Favourite shishya of Guru Drona.

Nar Narayana you both were called,

Two halves of one shakti,

Bhagavad Gita, one who preached,

Was the son of Mata Devaki.

Calm prince of fireborn princess,

Also the conqueror of sleep,

Father of brave Abhimanyu,

Whose arrows made the enemies bleak.

And last, but not the least,

Kindness and mercy your qualities,

Deserving Maha-Nayak crowned glory,

Amongst all in its entirety.
