Angel of Darkness

She sang songs of love

Said it was me and no other

Yet she bore a face not mine

It broke me into pieces.

But for her I grip fast to

The only love I found 

Forgave her so to start a new

But little did I know her game

Another face she bore again

So foolish I looked in her eyes

But for them the kids I hung in there

But the third again a blow in my face

An angel of darkness on my life

Yet I love her too much to let her go

Am I the blind and lost of the two of us

Will she remain true to her words to change

Or will she always be the angel of darkness

Will I remain a slave to her crafty lies

Will I see the end a shiny path

Or die in my hurt and pain alone
