An Understatement

His eyes pierced mine,

and that's the day I fell.

It might not seem interesting

still, it's my story to tell.

I didn't realize when he captured the whole of me,

All I know is that it was the best possible ambushment.

Don't believe when I quantify my love for him,

It'll just be an understatement.
