The Sea Shore In Twilight
The Sea Shore In Twilight
The way we sat beside the sea, waves drenching us and the salty tinch burning us
It was time to depart yet we just let go
Living those moments beyond time in total timelessness
Your soul Merging into mine, your breath
Intertwining with mine, your skin knowing mine in its smoothness, your sweat fragrant embalming and embodying my then existence.
We whisper words which the ocean tide took away and gave back, still we talk, never stopping until lips finding each other in rapture and closure
In the breeze in the mist there was no me nor you just the shore and bubbles
In mirth in harmony in contemplation of
a divine song the nature sang
The sky golden red, shone on my forehead smearing vermilion your lips
Smeared into mine shimmering the forthcoming twilight
The boats and yachts were a shore
People scattered and lost
Yet we never could move, nor bid goodbye we, lost in each other so deeply
How many secrets would the sea keep
In its oysters that become beautiful pearls, our love,
My heart would it not have become the best pearls and corals
We sat beside the sea, universe conspiring our story written on every sand, every drop of water
Days fall into the arms of night at that beautiful twilight every quantum of cosmos eager to cover it with its mercy
You became the most precious verses painted in the archives of yesterday's
Memories, thoughts collapse in timelines,
yet that evening had peacocks dancing on the western horizon in joy
I wrote you in to the eternity with paints with such elegance and poise, every time it rekindled a full moon on that seashore in bygones....
oh my love
