Abandoned
Abandoned
She was brutally thrown away,
By a few, who perhaps
Were intellectuals, as they themselves said.
Her pearl-precious tears
Were much ignored...
Maybe, that was the easiest way
To keep away all 'fears'!
When I asked her,
What had been so scary?
Why were those people frightened?
She smiled...
And left it for me to guess,
To conclude, in the end.
I've known her since when,
To the world, my eyes were opened,
A symbol of courage, goodwill, and hope,
But eh, what could be the reason?
Why were they frightened?
I thought for hours together,
And as days passed by,
I came across a bitter truth
Which literally, made me cry!
Maybe her immense potential
And that apt confidence,
Made her the culprit...
For they were mistaken
As an abhorrent arrogance!
Those men were merely scared
Of her self-possession,
'Should a GIRL get this chance?'
Was their only question.
Seldom does this happen, maybe,
In this wonderful world,
But mark my words, she's strong,
And her mind is unfurled.
Nothing to say to those few,
It isn't possible though;
To stop her from reaching the destiny
Like the rivers that flow.
A story which is ever desolate
Of the unstoppable,
And that's all about her ----
My 'ever- bleeding' soul!
