Dear Physics,

I've learned the importance

Of the Coulomb's Law,

Assumptions on every step ----

Calculations-- ripe and raw!

Dear Chemistry,

Why don't you stop a second...

Dealing with the harmful matter,

Balancing chemicals day and night;

'Endo's and 'exo's, left and right,

I find only gloom, no glitter!

Dear Maths,

I would love to love you---

But only if you promise

To gift me a decent score,

Integrations, derivatives, and statistics,

I practice and forget more!

Sad to say, but this is the truth...

Though poetry fascinates more,

I've held onto science only for

The subject I adore!

Biology---- the essence of life;

The reason why we live,

Makes me a science student

And helps me thrive!

What could I have done, tell me,

Being the topper in class,

Thinking, all toppers are potent scientists

I made my life a mess!

So, never make such a mistake, dear reader

Or else just like me,

You'll see yourself in the dark

Amidst the common dilemma,

What to be and not to be!!
