A Whole New Life

My life is a mess

I don't belong here

In the Earth's nest

My life is a lie

I have regrets

Of still being alive

No one wants me

No one needs me

This is just a black hole

From which there is no escaping. 

All dark clouds

With no silver lining

Where no one is caring

And no one loving. 

My life is a disaster

It is like an earthquake

Each passing second

It shakes and shakes and shakes. 

My life is all fake

I wish I would just fade. 

Never a shining star

Nor a sparkling tear

Have I ever encountered it? 

My whole life

I've been caught in a lamp

No Aladdin ever saved me

No Jafar ever fetched for me. 

This is not the life I dreamt of

This is not the life I craved for

I wish I could kiss it goodbye

And start with my lover,

   A whole new life.
