A walk in the rain
A walk in the rain
I felt captive in the yearning cage
My thoughts had become thirsty and craved moisture
The rain started to pour
A drop fell on my cheek and another on my eyes
They sing their deepest songs-
Sick leaves reeling down in throngs
Be still scatterbrain and cease to stop thinking
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining?
The barren lands filled with fragrance of the smell of the rain
Gust of wind blows and flowers bend their heads as if to rest!
I stepped out and walked in the rain
Drop after drop, got drenched!
The rain started to get fast and it never stopped
But today it was not the tears that fall
I embraced the downpour and the pain
Stretching my arms as wide as I can.
