A Star's Diary

Thousands of years back

My eyes urged to look down

I glanced around and saw Earth

I felt that there was only little she did lack

Vivid landforms, volcanos, and vast oceans

I envied all

Hoping the creator granted me those!

She flourished with animals and plants

Occasionally eruptions which were rampant

Generations passed by

To see apes develop into humans

"Who are they ?",I thought then !!

Slowly humans bought progress

Used her resources with prowess

She was a beauty

She was proud of her beloved children

I was jealous of all !!

I came back again

After thousands of centuries

Expecting to see wonders lain

Alas! She sat half-dead

Crying and cursing humans

They had destroyed everything

Oh! Now my pity you ... Dear Earth !!
