A Nest Of Robins

A Nest Of Robins

1 min
144

Woven with a sweet, sweet song

A song they used to hum along

A nest in the hair of trees

Quivering with the evening breeze

There sits a pair of Robins

Yearning for the sky

Their wings are lost

They are incapable to fly

But they trust on the branch

When they look down and see

They trust the man

Sitting under the tree

He is also humming along

Under the shadow to relax

But they are unaware

That he has come here with an axe

After a few blows

The tree was dead

Lying on earth

Robins bled

Oh Dear God what have I done

Killing Robins was not fun

But I am a human and my greed is known

Ruining their home I will build my own
