A Mask - My Identity
A Mask - My Identity
Times though tough,
Heart though rough,
But we wear a mask
Of happiness over grief!
From dawn to dusk,
Thousand masks, we adorn,
Masks we fear to abscond,
But none are me!
Its a mirage, don't be fooled.
For it appears smooth and polished.
Beneath are dents of fear and smugness.
The real me!
We conceal our fears,
hide our tears.
Move with confidence of name,
Its just a game,
With masks we wear!
We dislike this game,
But honestly, to survive,
We need the fame.
So, we all have learnt to adorn masks,
To accomplish every task!
