A Long Walk!

A long walk, along the lost pathway,

Moving ahead, in that hidden territory.

A place, so foreign, yet so close to heart,

That path, which takes you ahead to a new start.

Scared I feel, about the unknown,

Yet I keep on walking to discover, what's not known.

This road is full of thorns and stones,

Posing as hurdles, just like life throws.

Alone you are, alone you walk,

All you know, is, who holds your hand & walks along.

Stop for a while, but never give up,

This path is worth all the hard work.

Those stones, treat them as stepping stones,

Keep moving, treat those hurdles, as your partner.

Learn to love those thorns,

For among them, bloom lovely flowers.

This dusty, difficult road,

Paves the story, that future holds,

A journey, that never stops,

A journey, that defines you.

And, that's how I keep on walking,

Finding my lost soul, amidst a sea of people.

There are miles and miles to go,

And, alone, I shall walk, before I sleep.
