A Lonely Soul
A Lonely Soul
Walking on the dark streets,
Over the tinkling rain drops;
Carrying the cage of emotions,
With a heart that crops.
Tears oozing out of eyes,
As if a stream of grief;
Washing all that mud in mind,
And bringing a serene relief.
Glimpse of moonlight,
Shining and smiling high;
Calming down the fleshes,
Relieving with a sigh.
The darkness was adorable though,
Making to fall in love with it;
All seem to be immersed as one,
With no boundaries defined.
It seemed as if you caught me,
Walking beside with a haul;
But then realized you weren’t there,
And I walked along A Lonely Soul.
