A Little Time More

A Little Time More

If I had a wish

That could come true

I would have wished

For a little time more with you...

My Maa

A little time more

A little time more

To do all things that

I can't do now.

A little time more

To sit with you...

To chat with you...

To hear your stories

About your childhood and your dreams

A little time more

To sleep in your lap

To lose my pains

And see sweet dreams,

A little time more

To see your smile

Every time I won a prize,

I wish I could forget that I am a grown-up woman now

And be your little princess

For just a little time more

I wish I could hear your voice one last time

Hear you call me, the way you always do

I wish I could bring back that time

When you taught me all things

I wish I could stand by your stove

And learn tables again

I wish I had your strength

Your perseverance and Patience

I really wish I could be a mother

Just like you...

Just this one last time

To hug you

To kiss you

To tell you that 'I love you'

That I need you today and forever

So I wish for

A little time more

A little time more

With you my Maa...
