Changes uninvited compels us
Out of our beloved comforts
Like a gush of wind, it comes forth
Thoughts pushed to hang in balance
In a battle against the inevitable
Let the ends justify the plays
Why the winds must blow?
Is there any need for a rush?
Slow and steady they say
To hold your pace in matters of life
But now left in the lurch
Amidst uncertain waters
Do we run or hold our ground?
Either may deliver a deadly blow
Death of old to raise the new
Which is better? Who is to judge?
May the witness hold the verdict
To a point time that is to come
