Why Are We Hurt?

Why Are We Hurt?

When I opened the secret diary of my daughter, the first page read as why are we hurt? It went on as:

All of us have felt the emotion of being extremely hurt. That feeling of being hurt so badly that you just can't bear the pain. The similar pain which you feel when someone punches you hard in your abdomen. Your eyes start to water, you skip a beat and you feel dyspneic. It just feels that your heart will just burst out of your chest. You just feel valueless and not worth anything. You feel that everything is meaningless. The feeling of sky raining tears down on us and we just feel that we will drown in that pain.

Very often we encounter this thunderous feeling of deep gloominess. Often we feel it cause maybe it's that we have been insulted by someone, someone might have judged you, you may have been rejected, someone ignored you or even you might be hurt just like that, out of no where, just sitting somewhere and feeling sad and pitty about your life. Then gradually those all sad memories roll in slowly and you start feeling even more hurt about any circumstance in which you are. Just like a tempest these thoughts flow and destroy your peace of mind. This feeling eventually leads to crying, depression or even getting violent.

But hold on. That pain isn't permanent. That dispirited moment won't last forever. The problem is not you. The problem is that you are more concerned about what people think about you. You are raised from birth to value the opinions of others. Each one of us is concerned about what people think about us. Everything is dependent on how people value and view us.

Why do you pay attention to what others say about you. You are your own responsibility. You are your first priority. It's in your hands that you want to be hurt or not. Make a bond with your inner self. Pay more attention to what your inner body says to you. Pay more attention to what your soul says to you. Pay more attention to the relationship you have with your very own self and then when you are done with that think about people.

The reason you feel hurt is that what people think about you is more important for you. You value people's opinions more than your own opinion. If someone rejects, ignores, insults or in short hurts us we just collect it all and either gulp it and feel depressed and end up crying or we just hate the same person back with multiplied hatred. "This chain reaction keeps on going round and round and round until one fine day universe dumps it on you."

No one knows you better than yourself. No one can ever know who you are from inside. Everyone's opinion is based on just experiences. These opinions are false. They are random opinions that are born due to some incident or circumstance. You are the one who knows yourself the best and you are the one who has the ultimate authority to either allow them to hurt you or not.

Just once try the other way round. Value your own self, your own worth, your own opinions above the voices of others. Don't let their way of thinking about you affect you for once. Just give yourself permission to not feel attacked and hurt. Just try to turn a deaf year to them. Just move on. Let them give their opinion, just listen to it and tell them that you see things differently. It will help you to evolve. It will bring you back yourself. You will discover yourself. You will feel like the personality you would love to be.

Don't get hurt or depressed. It's for sure okay to cry and make yourself feel better. But just believe in yourself more and less on others. Just practice self-belief, self-authority and self-governance. "Eliminate the hatred and then watch yourself bloom like a flower."

Don't be slaves to other's opinions and don't give others the right to play with your delicate heart. You are God's child and he can't see you sad and hurt. Have faith in yourself and god above.

Spread love.

This is where the first 9 pages ended. And now there are several more chapters to reveal.
