The People Of War

It was a war that had played with our lives for the past eleven years.

It was a nation being torn by their own people.

Pairs were widowed. Lovers were separated. Father and brothers were dead in the war . And mothers had cried their eyes out in the awaiting of their family.

The war had left a gloomier impact on us.

We had killed the army general. They said after we kill him things will be settled.

But yet here we were even after winning we were failing.

We had won a war but failed humanity.

Our foolishness had caused us a lot more. Being free from this turmoil was the sweetest dream we had but the massacre and the aftermath was a nightmare. It was hard to realize all the lives we took all the lives we lost.

Our strength became our failure. Our lives became our failure. Our victory indeed was our failure.

Now when I think of it, I feel although whatever happened we were the people of war our failures had taught us what we are today. And just because we failed we knew how to come up and be better.

Failure my friend is inevitable when you do things but to realize that failure and to work on it is what makes us victorious.
