Everything comes with an expiry date, food, medicines, chocolates, and all other everyday essentials and something more. Yes, our lives too! The only difference, for the items you have got it printed over the packets, but for us, we don't know when exactly we say goodbye to this "too" beautiful people around us.

Every day we end up hurting people around, falling for new ones, or just calling it off because it does not work anymore. But what if the person you had a fight with today, is no more there tomorrow to just solve it out. What if the person who loves you today, is no more there to shower more love to you tomorrow. Then all you have is regrets and memories! And that's where my write up begins.

"I wish I could have some more time with me. I know I have always asked God to take away my life for all the odds I have faced so far. But I also want to spend some more time with them who gave so much pain. I feel disgusted that tomorrow will never come in my life. Oh! I feel so shattered, this beauty of the early morning, this is going to be no more in front of my eyes. Lord, please give me some more days to live before I sleep forever!", the last moment desires she had after knowing she could live no longer and perhaps that was her last day.

It was early Sunday morning, she stood near her room's window in the hospital, gazing at the blue sky, feeling nature's beauty for one last time. She was happy that she has no more to face. Yet, she had that pain that she will be no more. She took out her phone and just dialed a number, hoping someone will pick up. But no one responded. Sigh, she had this one last chance to talk to him before she could sleep forever.

She redialed the number and this time found her number to be blocked. She ended up smiling. The patient sharing room with her, finally asking her why was she smiling in spite of her attempts being in vain. "At least I tried", she replied and again faced the windowpane, trying to find something amidst the clouds. She loved gazing at the clouds, maybe she had a good connection with nature. It was then, the nurse entered the room.

"Ma'am, are you ready for the operation?"

"Yes, just take me there! I have got no time for anyone else now", she smiled and followed the nurse.

She now lost all her hopes. She knew there is no "another" day for her. She can't wait anymore and she was longing to meet that one particular person, who was her everything, maybe her entire world. But as noticed, she was nothing to that person who captivated her senses.

The doctor smiled, "We will try our best to give you a new life."

"Well, I don't need false hopes anymore. This one life was enough for me", she smiled back.

Guess, as she knew, she passed away. And that guy, he never bothered to even call her up. When he realised he should have, it was too late. He felt too bad about himself. He started hating himself. He thought himself to be a victim of her death because she was fighting a deadly disease. And this was an effect of depression. Now, as she was gone, he was missing her. He wanted to fetch her back. But now she had decided to ignore him for the rest of his life.

P.S. This story just doesn't involve emotions but also the fact how we people avoid those suffering from depressions, so much so that it may even take away precious lives. If you know anyone fighting through depression, just hug him/her. Be with that person and instead of being the cause of death, be the cause of life. What if you both end up being good friends or friends for life?
