There's a tightness in my chest

Cannot explain the pain

Ruled out arrhythmia

Ruled out indigestion

Occurrence repeated

At frequent intervals

Diagnosed as pangs

Of separation

No aspirin could quell

Lost in game of love

Nursing a broken heart

Shards keep hurting
