My Dear Gurus
My Dear Gurus
The seeds of knowledge my parents planted,
You, my dear gurus, nurtured and caressed it.
I was a raw clay ready to be shaped,
You, my dear gurus, moulded me to completion.
Social media was unheard of during those days,
You, my dear gurus, were my Google and Alexa.
If copying were a sin, then I'm the biggest sinner,
You, my dear gurus, I copied a lot.
In my walk, talk, mannerisms and what not,
You, my dear gurus, had your imprints carved.
In my sweet successes and the sour failures,
You, my dear gurus, always stood by my side.
