Christmas Love
Christmas Love

Those starry eyes do surpass,
What I see in the stars,
For we are but, among them,
So close yet so apart.
And tonight under all these lights,
I long to see that sun-kissed skin,
The jingling bells aren't substantial enough,
Than feeling your breath on my chin.
I don't need tinsels, or any of these stars,
I don't need angels, on top of trees,
For I picture one right in front,
Face against face in the cold breeze.
These glitters and spangles,
And all of their shine,
Our silhouettes against the campfire,
Your hand on mine.
This Eve I just want to tell you,
You make my life evermore bright,
Merry Christmas, my star on top,
Sleep well tonight
