Little did we know,

How much we will change

Little did we know,

All the pains we will begin.

We have changed so much.

From sticks and stones

We have evolved so much.

But was it right?

Changing so much

Straying from love.

We evolve and we forget

A bit of our soul,

Hanging in the time by

Our terrible power lust.

We changed,

We overcome.

We made,

And we organised.

Would we recognize ourselves,

If we look back?

If we saw our future selves

Would we scare?

Would we think it's an alien in our place?

We do not know,

The changes are unavoidable

And brilliant in their pace.

We change,

We burn bright,

We know our time is short.

So we burn bright.

We create, we create.

We are so scared

That nothing of us

Would be left behind.

So we create a different world,

We create a different self.

To adapt, to live.

To make ourselves worthwhile.

That's why we change,

Because we can't sit still

Bidding our time.
