It was a convoluted web. Enigma was a child's play in comparison. It was a world where mysteries that could not have been made up. He was in the center of it. Who was he, he constantly wondered? "Never mind. I will answer that from the comfort of my old age. I got dragons to slay, mountains to conquer, bus rides to catch, hearts to be broken, and Excel sheets to fill." he concluded.
In this curious world of his, beauty was but a notion. Her smile was the difference between mornings and nights and yet, he did not know who she was. Distraction was plenty. The moon was nothing more than a light bulb switched on and off by the stars whose mood swings demanded attention.
In the roads he walked, thinking about love and beyond, flickering lights were the only company he could get. Does that mean something? flickering lights? Some vast cosmic comparison to meaningful or meaningless relationships that pass by our lives or was it just flickering fucking lights?
He was sensing time and space wrapping up. The end was ominous. He was sure he will revisit this world and pat the shadows of doubt, misery, and hopelessness again. But, until then he has to heed to the voice of the superior almost giving up the secret of life.
In the end, the sound of a snap, a literal snap asked him "Have you decided what you want to eat yet?"
