I Do, Too!

Caprice on her mind,

She kissed me with sweet smiles.

Harsh stares and windless dreams,

Sweet rum couldn't keep her out.

Stripping away warmth, 

Stains of exhaustion lay in her wake. 

On her day,

She nurtures and kills.

But, last night,

With footsteps drowning grand gestures,

I heard her,

Felt her,

Descending on me,

Insinuating universe's mysticism,

Sweet talking me to step out,

Embrace. Feel alive all over again. 

She never fails me. 

Witness to my sanctity.
